Apple Crisp

- 10 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup water
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, nutmeg and ground cinnamon. Add apples to mixture; toss evenly. Place in 9×13 pan; pour water over evenly. Combine oats, 2 cups flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter until crumbly. Crumble mixture over the apple mixture. Bake about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
